My story

My journey with yoga began as a means to cope with grief.

My mother was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2011. I was 29, training to be an actuary in London. Doctors predicted she had 6 months to live, she miraculously made it past 10 years. It was a rollercoaster journey of ups and downs. There were victories & also dark times when I felt completely alone.

When an illness is terminal, grief begins while the loved one is alive. My practice began to unfold when I relocated to Dubai in 2014. On my mat, a voice gently whispered "I'm here". I felt myself. The tears could fall. I was able to cut through the noise, my emotions surfaced and I began to heal.

It hasn't been all all tears and struggles. I've traveled far and wide, had incredible achievements in my career, made beautiful friends and found love.

I set out on a yoga teacher training to deepen my own practice but was compelled to teach as it was too good to keep to myself..

So here I am, engineer turned actuary turned yogi excited to share the magic of yoga with you....


My passion

I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space for others to face themselves and to heal. To spread kindness and compassion, for ourselves and others.

If I can make one person feel less alone in their grief, this would be enough for me.

Having experienced the stress and pressures of corporate life for many years, I am able to tailor sessions to help busy professionals find calm and balance.

With a continual thirst to learn and a passion to contribute to society, this is just the beginning. There is much still to learn, to keep growing and evolving.

It is an honour to pass on the wisdom and light of yoga to you so you can live a long, healthy and happy life.
